There was a great article on hypnosis, hypnotist Michael Glowacki and the history of hypnosis in the Wisconsin State Journal on January 4, 2005, the first World Hypnotism Day. Every year on that day, hypnotists and hypnotherapists have celebrated World Hypnotism Day on January 4th with seminars, interviews and events showing people what hypnosis is all about.

At the Seqoya Branch of the Madison Public Library, Michael Glowacki gave a free talk about using self-hypnosis to keep your New Year’s resolutions. Between 65 and 75 people attended.
